A total of nine Travellingbug volunteer worked with CEPROSI in the summer of 2007, mostly in childcare roles, although one volunteer spend 6 months conducting social reserach.

In addition, children who were quiet at the beginning were hard to stop from talking at the end!!
A positive impact of our work on the staff of the centre was also obvious. They were positive to all suggestions / changes and they seemed to rediscover their energy and enthusiasm.
I would recommend Travellingbug to any independent volunteer: you'll love it!

In my opinion, each and every one of the children at the centre benefited from us being there. It was obvious from the behaviour of the children that they took in everything we taught them and were more and more curious to learn more.
All except the three youngest could count to 10 in English at the end of my placement, and all kids could sing 'The Fruit Song'!!
